In the evening on November 25, 2021, the lightning has become a reason for a small transport collapse in the largest Australian city, Sydney. In the official Twitter channel Sydney Trains, there was an information on numerous lightning strikes that damaged the equipment at the railroad station Sydenham. As a result, the trains in several lines stopped for several hours. And it happened in a 5 million city in a rush hour. Probably, a mistake was made during the design of the lightning protection system.
