2. Surge protection of power supply circuits
SPD of class 1+2+3
Unique SPDs of class 1+2+3 both provide protection from direct lightning currents and induced surges (voltage pulse limit up to 1 kV). In small structures, the offered device may be a single overvoltage protection, in particular in GSM rooms, in container spaces and in individual houses.

SPD of class 1
SPD of class 1 are designed to divert partial lightning currents and are installed if there is a risk of a lightning strike into the external lightning protection of an object or an air line. The most important characteristic of Class 1 arresters is their ability to drain Iimp lightning current (pulse form 10/350 ms).

Protection of radio receivers and television (including satellite)
If there is a lightning rod on the roof of your house (especially if its functions are performed by a mast on which there is a TV antenna), it should be taken into account that the partial lightning current can flow in the TV signal transmission network. In this case, the equipment (eg, TV) can be seriously damaged. To eliminate this situation, you must install a special protective device in the circuit of TV signal transmission.
