Webinar 11. BIM Technologies in Design: Reducing Time for Producing Engineering Documentation
(will be held on October 23, 2019 at 11:00 Moscow time)
Webinar series: BIM Design of Power Grids
Lecturer: Svetlana Aleksandrovna Knyazeva, Product Manager for “Solutions for Designing Power Supply”, CSD Company
We invite you to the webinar, in the course of which you will study the benefits of using the information modelling for the design of civil and industrial facilities.
Building Information Modelling (BIM) is a process of collaborative creation and use of information on a structure forming the basis for all solutions throughout the entire facility lifecycle.
BIM is based on a 3D information model, based on which the work of the investor, the customer, the general designer, the general contractor, and the operating company is organized.
During the webinar, you will explore:
- the benefits of implementing the information modelling technology;
- the extent of BIM application in Russia, regulatory framework and development prospects;
- the software products for solving electrotechnical tasks optimizing the design processes.
We will share the resources where you may get the information and download useful materials for the design (free of charge): educational materials, BIM standards, templates for the project sections, etc.
Webinar duration: 60 minutes
The participation is free of charge, the number of participants is limited.
