Last Wednesday, on 27 May 2015 the first webinar of the series "Modern lightning protection" was held.
The lecturer was the representative of the Lightning Eliminators & Consultants, Inc (LEC), United States, Peter Carpenter, who is vice president and director on application engineering and has been working in lightning protection for over 20 years.
The company has been working for 40 years and counts thousands of facilities around the world successfully equipped with lightning protection systems.
The main feature of the LEC - creation and installation of unique systems of lightning protection, designed to prevent lightning strikes over the protected object. For example, the system that allows to eliminate the lightning strike development into the protected object - Dissipation Array System and the technology that is reducing the risk of direct lightning strikes and working as a standard lightning rod at the same time - Spline Ball Terminal®.
