In the morning of December 21, during a heavy snowfall, a lightning struck a residential house in Sevastopol. The house residents heard a strong boom under the access way roof and supposed it was a gas explosion. The employees of the Ministry of Emergency as well as emergency services of the city came to the location. Fortunately, there were no deaths or injured people, and the rescuers did not have to provide help.
Social media offer several video records of the incident. The video shows that the lightning strikes the roof of a multi-storey house, after which smoke appears under the roof. According to the witness' words, the lightning strike caused damage to a balcony located in the higher storey.
