DEHNbox compact integrated lightning current and surge arrester to protect information and automation systems standing out thanks to actiVsense technology. The arrester can be applied in the range from 0 to 180V with superimposed signal voltage (± 5V / 50MHz). Rated current is limited to 100mA, which is sufficient for the protecting information technology systems. actiVsense technology enables the arrester to automatically determine the applied signal voltage and adjust the protection level. Thanks to that, this arrester is suitable for systems with changing or slowly fluctuating signal levels (≤ 400Hz). [[placeholder]][[placeholder]]When there is interference, DEHNbox always has adjusted minimal residual voltage for every signal voltage that provides maximum protection for devices and systems connected to it. SPD DEHNbox available in two versions: four-pole and two-pole ones. Four-pole version for protection of 2 separate balanced interfaces, i.e. arrester automatically detects applied operating voltage to be more precise signal voltage, for each of two-wire lines, and optimally adjusts the protection voltage level for each signal line. This would allow to protect two distinct balanced interfaces using only one device, which would shorten installation time, expenditure and facilitates choice among great variety of SPDs. Two-pole version for one balanced data transmission interface is used to protect only one signal interface (1 two-wire line). Functional design of DEHNbox in plastic housing with tie-down lugs is perfect for wall mounting.

DEHNbox is IP 65, so that it can be installed in specific environment, e.g. high-humidity facilities. Cable entry devices are equipped with convenient self-sealing rubber membranes which enable you to carry out installation quickly and in an easy way, as well as protect against humidity and dust penetration.
Cable wires and screen are connected in a screw-free way with spring clips.
Two separate connection clips ensure direct or indirect cable screen connection to equipotential bonding system.
