High-rise catenary wire lightning protecton - is a system of external lightning protection, in which a wire acts as a lightning rod, suspended above the object to be protected on special supports which are located at some distance from this object.
High-rise catenary wire lightning protection has several advantages in comparison to the system of rod lightning rods:
