On 7 December 2016, a new webinar by Professor Eduard Meerovich Bazelyan will be held, devoted to lightning protection and earthing for facilities that distribute liquid and gaseous fuel.
The webinar will deal with the nuances in calculating and designing the aforementioned protection systems, as well as issues with the application of multiple-use lightning diverters, the shortcomings of industrial regulatory documents and designing earthing devices.
The topic of discussion is rather complicated, because today there is still no unified coordination body that could technically justify an approach to protection against both the external impacts of lightning and the electromagnetic inductions stimulated by it.
