The issue of completeness and harmony of regulatory documents takes a special place in the designer's life. The hope to promote GOSTs, industrial standards, etc. in terms of harmonization, completeness, and up-to-dateness is probably not relevant only for a novice designer. The National Standardization Programme (NSP-2023) has been developed to reflect the potential of the regulatory documents. It determines standardization direction for 2023-2024 and is governed by its own GOST R 1.14-2017.
According to this regulatory document, the work for the development of this Programme is being carried out via a special Internet portal using the "BERESTA" Federal State Information System. The Technical Standardization Committees have been offering their proposals under the NSP-2023 from June 30 to September 2, 2022. The final document considering these proposals was presented at an extended meeting of the Standardization Council on September 29, 2022 and was soon approved by Rosstandart (Federal Agency on Technical Regulating and Metrology).
What future prospects exist for regulatory documents related to lightning protection and grounding in 2023-2024? We have made an analysis in our new article. Let's look into the future together! 🙂
