Threaded coupler

Brass coupling is designed to interconnect ground rods. It is made in such a way that the rods come into contact with each other in the very center of the coupler and the motive power necessary to drive the rods into the soil is not not transferred to the coupler. Thus, there is no shock pulse "distribution" and mechanical stress is taken away from the coupler.
