It is unsophisticated to install conductors on a flat roof. However, there are some nuances in the lightning protection. When building lightning protection systems at the facilities with flat roofs, conductors should be installed in special holders. Such installation ensures both correct conductor positioning and greatly improves its service life.
Installing conductors without holders may cause roof damage due to impact. In case of a lightning strike, the conductor being in direct contact with the roof may heat up to the degree that may cause coating damage or even fire.
The ZANDZ ZZ-11711 circular-wire clamp has the required strength and adequate weight due to internal concrete filling. This allows the clamp to fixedly stay on the flat surface and does not require additional measures to secure it during the installation.
For a circular wire with a diameter of 8-10 mm, double attachment is provided to ensure additional reliability and safety.
It is easy to install the current collector in these holders. Just snap it on!
